As human beings, we’re trained to be suspicious and sceptical of most things. But when it comes to trusting God, Proverbs 3 tells us to trust God with our whole hearts. In other words, hold nothing back from completely depending on Him each day.
It also says to not lean on our own understanding. So many times, we can attempt to figure out, reason, manipulate and change things to suit our comfort or convenience. Yet God says, “Trust Me”.
Trust that isn’t tested isn’t trust at all.
What might be some areas in your life that you struggle to trust God with?
God is far more interested in our trust over our understanding. To some degree, it can be hard to trust something or someone we can’t visibly see, but God has made Himself known to us! Therefore, we should never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.
