Acts 17:26 (NKJV) [bible-link v=”Acts+17%3A26&version=NKJV”]
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.
Margaret and I moved to this beautiful city that sits on the crest of the Great Dividing Range some 20 years ago. Over the last two decades, we have seen the city change dramatically. There is a lot to love about the second biggest inland city in Australia.
But the reason I love this place and the people so much, is because I feel a genuine call of God here. It’s because of that calling, that I feel a sense of civic duty to steward and serve Toowoomba in any way I can.
I’ve often said that if you’re part of something, you participate. That means all those called here seek out ways on how we can make this place truly the best.
I see the idea of community and called to a place directly linked. If you have a sense of ownership and pride about where you live, then that will generate a passion, and passion creates time.
What do you think about where you live? Do you feel a sense of calling? Do you believe God has called you here right now?
